Computer Science / Mathematics Teacher (Cambridge Curriculum)

Job Summary:

The Computer Science / Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum. The role fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy while creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that enables students to achieve academic excellence and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Computer Science and Mathematics aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessments that meet curriculum standards.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
• Prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, AS, or A Level examinations, as applicable.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Participate in curriculum review, departmental planning, and school improvement initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
• Uphold school policies, safeguarding requirements, and professional teaching standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (PGDE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and Mathematics.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
