This role will play a pivotal role in advancing a mission to empower tradeswomen through high-quality, results-driven construction education. This leadership role focuses on collaboration, mentorship, capacity-building, and embedding Quality Assurance (QA) principles to ensure the training programs meet industry requirements, global standards, and measurable performance targets. This role requires a collaborative and accountable approach to achieve program goals that will empower trainers to deliver impactful, measurable results. This role acts as a support, coach, and partner to trade trainers as a lead by:
- Assisting trainers developing work methods and skill specifications for each project.
- Facilitating the creation of trade-specific and measurable goals for both trainers and trainees.
- Tracking, measuring, and extracting learning outcomes across defined trade levels; Beginner, Intermediate, Intensive, Advanced.
- Promoting a collaborative culture and integrating QA principles into all training activities.
- Ensuring alignment with industry demands, sustainable practices, and innovative tools to ensure training outcomes prepare trainees for real-world success.
ENSURE GLOBAL AND INDUSTRY ALIGNMENT · Progressively incorporate internationally recognized standards such as ISO & OSHA and sustainable practices into training programs. · Regularly update training modules to reflect evolving workforce needs and industry requirements. · Design practical, hands-on training modules, incorporating targets, piece-rate structures, and production-based learning frameworks. 2. COLLABORATIVE COACHING AND CAPACITY BUILDING · Provide direct coaching to trainers, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and supportive environment. · Hold trainers to targets while collaborating on solutions to overcome challenges. · Facilitate review sessions, establish accountability frameworks, and encourage knowledge-sharing to address challenges, measure progress, and stay on track.
10+ years experience in construction management, site supervision, or related field. · Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a collaborative, accountable, and supportive environment. · Experience holding teams accountable to measurable performance targets while fostering growth and innovation. · Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) principles, trade-specific skills, and construction education standards. · Familiarity with global standards such as ISO, OSHA and sustainable practices. · Demonstrate success in setting and achieving measurable goals. · Proficient in using data to drive decision-making and program improvement. · Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills. · Commitment to fostering teamwork, transparency, and accountability. · Passion for empowering tradeswomen and advancing the company’s mission.
