Background

Alkam & Mulila LLP is seeking a Consulting Accountant/Auditor to join our dynamic advisory practice in Nairobi, Kenya.

In this role, you will lead key client engagements focused on financial reporting, technical accounting, compliance, and strategic advisory. You will work closely with client finance teams and senior leadership to deliver tailored solutions that support growth, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and managing client engagements in financial reporting, technical accounting, and compliance
• Supporting financial systems implementations and process improvements
• Assisting clients with audit readiness, internal controls, and financial due diligence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, audit, or financial consulting
• Experience with accounting software
• Strong client communication and analytical skills
• Prior experience in a consulting or advisory firm is an added advantage
