JOB DETAILS:
This is an industry placement programme focused on Container Freight Station (CFS) Operations within the maritime transport sector. The Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) facilitates this programme to provide practical experience to trainees and recent graduates in Maritime Transport & Logistics.
The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice, preparing participants for careers in the maritime logistics field. Successful candidates will be placed with suitable Maritime Transport Operators to gain hands-on experience.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be a current trainee in a Maritime Transport & Logistics-related programme.
- Must be a recent graduate of a Maritime Transport & Logistics-related programme from a KMA-approved Maritime Education and Training Institution.
- Must be nominated by their training institution.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
