Job Summary

NENE GREENS AFRICA is seeking a hardworking and reliable Cook Assistant to support kitchen operations. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with daily food preparation.
• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients as required.
• Support cooking activities and ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Store ingredients properly and assist with stock management.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Good hygiene practices and attention to cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and hardworking attitude.
