Job Summary

Moi Girls Secondary School Kamangu is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to prepare nutritious meals while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the school's menu.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food supplies and report shortages.
• Observe food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the catering supervisor.

Requirements

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of D+.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Current Medical Certificate.
• Previous cooking experience is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: associate degree
