JOB DETAILS:
COOKER / CHEF
The Cooker/Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for hotel guests and staff while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the hotel’s menu and standards.
- Ensure food is fresh, well-prepared and properly presented.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Monitor food supplies and inform management when ingredients need replenishing.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure timely meal service.
