Cooks – 5 Positions

Job Summary

The Cook will assist in preparing and cooking meals in a high-volume kitchen while maintaining consistent food quality, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to established recipes and instructions.
• Handle large-volume food preparation efficiently.
• Maintain consistent portion sizes and food quality.
• Ensure food is prepared and served within required timelines.
• Properly store food and ingredients to maintain freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness of preparation areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with stock monitoring and minimize food wastage.
• Work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate or relevant training in Food Production, Catering, Culinary Arts, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience cooking for more than 1,000 people is required.
• Experience in institutional catering, large restaurants, schools, hospitals, camps, or other high-volume kitchens is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling.
• Good teamwork, organization, and time-management skills.
