Position Overview

We are recruiting a qualified Coordinator, Security, Standards, and Procedures to safeguard our aviation operations. This position is responsible for overseeing ground security measures, performing quality control audits, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and delivering specialized Aviation Security (AVSEC) training across operational departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Oversight: Monitor and enforce aviation security standards across all ground operations and station facilities.
• Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular quality control audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and international safety standards.
• Training & Development: Design and deliver Aviation Security (AVSEC) training programs to relevant operational personnel.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify operational vulnerabilities, prepare security reports, and continuously update standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Aviation Management, Criminology, Security Studies, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in aviation security (AVSEC) management.
• Certifications: Certified AVSEC Instructor credentials and Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) security certifications.
• Competencies: In-depth knowledge of civil aviation regulations, strong analytical auditing skills, and exceptional instructional capabilities.
