Job Description

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a designated supervisor.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

Implementing communications, customer and branding strategies to support the Centre 's objectives;

Supporting activities to enhance the corporate image of the Centre;

Monitoring internal and external media communication functions;

Assisting in protocol management:

Organizing Centre's planned events and functions;

Providing content in the development of Communication materials;

Supporting implementation of the Centre's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and preparing reports;

For appointment to this grade, an officer must:

Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations, Graphic Design or any other relevant equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; and

Proficiency in computer application skills.
