Background
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) is the National Medicines Regulatory Authority of Kenya, established under Section 3 of the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Cap 244 of the Laws of Kenya. The Board is mandated to protect and promote public health by regulating the pharmacy profession and ensuring access to quality, safe, and effective health products and technologies (HPTs) across the country.
In carrying out this mandate, the Board plays a central role in medicines regulation, professional oversight, quality assurance, compliance enforcement, research, communication, and administrative support within the national health regulatory framework.
The Pharmacy and Poisons Board is seeking to recruit qualified and competent candidates to fill various vacant positions on permanent and pensionable terms of service. All positions are full-time and based in the Board’s regional offices.

Responsibilities
- The Corporate Communication Officer supports internal and external communication functions.
- Responsibilities include preparing communication materials; supporting media engagement; managing digital and print content; supporting public awareness initiatives; documenting corporate activities; and ensuring consistency in corporate messaging.
