Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail assisting in:

  • Preparing speeches, media briefs and newsletters;
  • Maintaining online presence through the website and social media pages;
  • Ensuring website is regularly updated;
  • Overseeing the branding of NCRC;
  • Developing corporate Information, Educational and Communication (IEC) materials;
  • Documenting events through videography, photography and press cuttings;
  • Packaging and disseminating publications, content and events using the appropriate formats and media; and
  • Developing and updating media and stakeholder mailing list.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer applications; and
  • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

  • Interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Report writing skills;
  • Communication skills; and Ability to work in a team
