JOB OBJECTIVE(S)

Responsible for developing, growing and managing relationships with customers within Kenya's construction and infrastructure sector while increasing the Bank's revenue through the delivery of tailored corporate banking solutions. The role is responsible for originating, structuring and managing financing opportunities for construction companies, engineering firms, real estate developers, infrastructure contractors, building materials manufacturers and other participants within the construction value chain.

The Relationship Manager will support financing of strategic national infrastructure projects, affordable housing developments, public-private partnerships (PPPs), commercial real estate developments and county government infrastructure projects while ensuring prudent credit management and sustainable portfolio growth.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field.

Professional qualifications such as AKIB, CPA(K), ACCA, CFA or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Corporate Banking, with at least three (3) years managing corporate relationships.

Demonstrated experience in financing construction, infrastructure, engineering or real estate clients.

Strong understanding of project finance, contract financing and infrastructure lending.

Good understanding of Kenya's construction industry and regulatory framework.
