Role Context
We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Cost Controller to manage and optimize costs within our hotel operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and profitability of the establishment.
Responsibilities
The Cost Controller will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and analyzing all hotel costs, including food, beverage, labor, and operational expenses.
- Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and strategies.
- Preparing regular financial reports and forecasts related to costs.
- Ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and financial policies.
- Collaborating with department heads to identify areas for cost reduction.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cost control, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hotel experience is an added advantage.
