Job Summary
The Cost & Stock Controller is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, controlling food and beverage costs, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting effective inventory management to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of stock items.
Cost Control
- Monitor food and beverage costs against budgets.
- Analyze stock consumption and identify areas for cost savings.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
- Monitor wastage and implement loss prevention measures.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare inventory and cost control reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory procedures.
- Support internal and external audits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in inventory control, cost control, or stock management within the hospitality industry.
