JOB DETAILS:

A person shall be qualified to be nominated for election as Council Member if they:

1. Is registered as a member of the Institute in accordance with section 34(2) of the Act.
2. Has paid the prescribed subscription under section 34(3) of the Act.
3. Has not held the same office after the year 2025.
4. Has not been convicted of an election offence under regulation 22 of the Council Election Regulations; and
5. Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

   Members Interested to Vie for Council Positions

   1. Fill the Intent-to-Vie Form F1 as set out in the schedule.
   2. Fill the Nomination Form F2 as set out in the schedule (in the case of the Chairman, add Form SPN 1).
   3. Submit both forms to the Returning Officer via email: elections@kism.or.ke.
   4. Each nomination shall be accompanied by:
      • A copy of the member’s valid practicing license;
      • A copy of the member’s national ID;
      • A passport-size photo; and
      • A duly filled and signed Form F2 by two (2) fully paid-up members of the Institute.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
