Position Overview:
The Country Coordinator – Kenya will oversee Human Resources and Administration in Kenya, ensuring proper management in accordance with local laws, organizational procedures, and HQ guidelines. The role includes responsibility for employee administration, office operations, documentation, and day-to-day coordination, while supporting smooth and effective organizational operations in the country. The Country Coordinator will also support external relations, including stakeholder engagement, local communications, and marketing activities.
Basic Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or another relevant field.
Work Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in administration, HR coordination, office management, operations, or a similar coordination role.
Language: Fluent English, written and spoken.
Digital Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
Additional Advantages:
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and/or HR processes is an advantage.
- Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, or multicultural teams is an advantage.

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.

- Ability to work effectively with employees, partners, and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and staff integration processes in Kenya.
- Monitor employee records, contracts, benefits, vacations, attendance, and legal documentation in compliance with HQ guidelines and national regulations.
- Coordinate employee welfare initiatives, including holiday gifts, birthdays, and team activities.
- Assist in coordinating employee evaluations and performance review meetings.
- Support the implementation of organizational procedures and administrative processes.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements for staff, interns, and visitors.
- Maintain organized legal and operational documentation.
- Oversee office administration, including supplies, organization, and day-to-day operational needs.
- Coordinate basic IT and operational support issues when needed.
- Maintain the organization of Google Drive, Google Photos, and Monday.com.
- Submit weekly plans and reports.
- Ensure important country documents, agreements, licenses, permits, and registrations are properly filed and renewed on time.
- Develop and maintain partnerships and relationships with organizations and stakeholders.
- Maintain an updated database of partners, stakeholders, government contacts, and service providers.
- Manage local marketing activities and community engagement channels, including WhatsApp groups.
- Coordinate organizational visibility and exposure across media and communication channels in alignment with HQ guidelines and approvals.
- Support the development of promotional and communication materials, subject to prior approval from HQ.
