The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) is seeking a Country Director for Kenya. The Country Director will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of all CIPE’s program management, implementation, and operations in Kenya. This is a remote position based in Nairobi, Kenya.

• Develop, manage, and execute CIPE Kenya's program strategy, programs, and work plans
• Oversee the implementation of CIPE’s diverse program portfolio in Kenya
• Provide expert perspectives on the political and economic contexts in Kenya
• Identify and cultivate new opportunities and partnerships in the country
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing in-country program team
• Ensure compliance with CIPE and donor policies, procedures, and Kenyan legal requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Financial acumen and budget management skills
• Experience in program design, donor engagement, and organizational representation
• Ability to work in a remote team environment
• Experience managing donor relationships

• University degree or an Advanced degree in relevant field
• At least 10 years of experience in private sector development or related functions
• Understanding of political, economic, and institutional dynamics in Kenya
• Proven ability to build and maintain a diverse network of development partners
• Fluency in English; Swahili proficiency preferred
