JOB DETAILS:
COUNTRY HEAD, RETAIL BANKING – JOB REF: MN 8073
Our client, a well established continental bank wishes to recruit a Country Head, Retail Banking.
JOB OBJECTIVE(S)
• To ensure growth in profit, generate new relationships/accounts, and manage business relationships to guarantee optimal profitability within country of operation. .

Role and Responsibilities:
• Ensure growth in business volumes within the country
• Generate new account
• Manage overall business relationships to maximize revenue and
• Develop strategies to drive business and ensure same is followed to achieve optimal
• Monitor business trends and new market opportunities in the region to increase the bank’s market depth.
• Identify trends, opportunities, threats and environmental
• Drive initiatives required to achieve the product marketing and sales strategy for the country branches.
• Ensure that structures, systems and resources required to effectively service old customers and win new customers are in
• Coordinate activities aimed at providing the customer with his requirements and delivering value to the
• Ensure growth in the bank’s business through electronic products, cards and channels and other retail products country
• Manage and give direction to all marketing
• Advise the Country Executive Head on new business opportunities and develop strategies for financial benefit
• Carry out other responsibilities required for the business growth of the subsidiary as assigned by the Country CEO.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
• Contribution Budget Achievement
• Achievement of Deposit targets – Current, Savings, Time + Domiciliary Accounts
• MSME & Consumer Banking Business Growth (Sales, Deposit, Assets etc)
• Revenue
• Number of strategic business initiatives successfully implemented.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE
• A minimum of 7 years banking experience with 3 years in a managerial position.

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Economics, Finance and Accounting.
• Product/Service
• Good Understanding of the country’s market.
• Understanding of the Banking Industry, and banking
• Understanding of the country’s bank Regulatory policy
