Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design product collections inspired by African wildlife, Nature, and Culture.
  • Develop product sketches, technical drawings, and 3D visualizations for production.
  • Create digital mockups, renderings, and presentations for new product ideas.
  • Work closely with artisans and production teams to translate designs into high-quality finished products.
  • Select materials, finishes, colors, and textures that align with the brand aesthetic and functionality.
  • Prepare production-ready files and specifications for manufacturing.
  • Participate in prototyping, sampling, and product refinement processes.
  • Ensure all designs meet quality, usability, and cost considerations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to support product storytelling and launches.
  • Continuously research trends, tools, and innovations in product and digital design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Creative Design or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Creative design, preferably within a creative or lifestyle brand.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing product design, development process, and digital work.
  • High proficiency in design software such as:
    • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
    • SketchUp / AutoCAD / Rhino / Fusion 360 (or similar 3D tools)
  • Ability to create technical drawings and production-ready designs.
  • Strong understanding of materials (such as leather, textiles, wood, or handcrafted elements).
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and execution skills.
  • A deep appreciation for African wildlife and nature, craftsmanship and storytelling.
