- Authenticate documentation presented for all credit applications.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s credit rules & procedures.
- Appraisal of customer loan applications and making recommendations.
- Ensure all applicants are advised on the fate of applications within a reasonable time.
- Active participation in Credit Committee.
- Analyze applicant’s financial status and credit histories to determine the feasibility of granting loans.
- Communicate all changes regarding the credit rules and procedures to the sales staff.
- Any other duty that may be assigned.
- Evaluate, review and approve boda boda credit applications to determine if borrowers meet the set criteria as per the rules.
- Ensure that credit appraisals and all documentation are properly collected, processed and filed as required.
- Ensure prompt feedback and closure of all boda boda credit applications.
- Ensure loan facilities are released on time.
- Establishing a risk management culture that promotes good analysis, judgment, flexibility and a balance between risk and reward.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of record-keeping.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.
- Fluent in English and Swahili.
- Diploma/ Degree in B.com- Finance option or related field.
- 2+ experience as a Credit Analyst.
