Background

Our client, a leading FMCG brands manufacturing company in Thika, is looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Credit Controller to manage credit control functions, ensure prompt collection of outstanding debts from leading supermarket chains and large FMCG brands distributors, while maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting the company's cash flow and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control credit limits and customer accounts.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve credit and payment issues.
  • Prepare credit control reports and analyses.
  • Monitor debtor aging and implement collection strategies.
  • Work closely with sales and finance teams to minimize credit risk.

Requirements:

  • 5 years work experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Experience in collection from leading supermarket chains and large FMCG brands distributors.
  • Degree in Finance / CPA.
  • Professional training in Credit Control.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
