Qualifications and Experience

Academic Qualifications – Degree/Diploma in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field

Professional Certification – CPA (Intermediate and above) ACCA, CFA. Credit management certification is an added advantage

Experience – At least 3years in a busy financial environment, specifically in credit analysis, lending or debt recovery

Knowledge and Skills

Regulations Knowledge – In-depth and sound knowledge of statutory regulations or CBK guidelines

Technical Knowledge – understanding of credit risk management, loan documentation and KYC procedures

Key skills and attributes

Analytical skills – ability to analyze financial data and make sound decisions

Communication – Excellent written and verbal skills for communication with clients

Report Writing – good acumen for producing diverse reports

Negotiation – ability to manage delinquent accounts and handle loan restructuring

Software proficiency – experience with banking systems and MOS

Integrity – high level of ethical behavior

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: associate degree
