Background

This is a permanent and pensionable position within the Kitui County Government.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Curator II will be responsible for:

• Proper management of the park cleanliness and welfare of the captive animals;
• Ensuring that visitors do not tamper with objects and exhibits;
• Maintain internal security of exhibits;
• Receive and assist visitors in the park; and
• Maintain good public relations.

Qualifications and Requirements

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

• Be a Citizen of Kenya;
• a Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management, Environmental Science, Ranch Management and other related fields from a recognized institution; and
• Knowledge on handling reptiles.
