The Role
MSF is seeking to recruit a Customer Service Intern to support the communications department. The intern will be responsible for handling inquiries from the public, donors, and media, and providing information about MSF's work.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and social media in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information about MSF's projects, mission, and values.
- Escalate complex inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Maintain customer records and update databases.
- Assist in developing customer service materials and resources.
- Contribute to team meetings and provide feedback for service improvement.
Qualifications
- Recent graduate with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of MSF's work is an added advantage.
Experience
No prior work experience is required, but an internship or volunteer experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
Duration
This is a 6-month internship position.
Benefits
A monthly stipend will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the humanitarian sector.
