We are looking for an expert to train and implement public sector clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum Master’s degree in Customs Administration, International Trade, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in customs administration (e.g., WCO-certified Customs Expert, Certified Customs Specialist (CCS)) is an advantage.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in customs operations, procedures, valuation, and enforcement within government revenue authorities or international trade agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of World Trade Organization (WTO), World Customs Organization (WCO), and international customs best practices.
  • Experience in customs risk management, post-clearance audits, and tariff classification.
  • Expertise in trade facilitation measures, including customs automation, bonded warehousing, and digital customs clearance systems.
  • Experience in training customs officers on regulatory compliance, tariff structures, and trade policies.

Skills

  • Expertise in customs valuation, risk-based customs controls, and trade facilitation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills in customs law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to develop and implement customs training programs with practical case studies.
  • Proficiency in customs automation systems and digital platforms for customs processing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for policy development and training delivery.
