Cytologist

The Cytologist is Responsible for screening and reporting gynaecological and non-gynaecological cytology samples, performing Fine Needle Aspirate (FNA) biopsies, ensuring quality slide preparation, and supporting ISO 15189 compliance to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Professional Registration

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Cytology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
• Valid KMLTTB practicing license.

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in cytology and Fine

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
