Background

Afro Sayari Resort is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the resort's transportation needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate both company vans and heavy commercial lorries based on daily operational needs.
  • Ensure the efficient and secure transport, loading, and unloading of goods, materials, and supplies.
  • Assist with flexible transport assignments, which may include utility running or staff/guest transit as required.
  • Adhere strictly to road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company transit policies.
  • Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate transit logs.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays to meet hospitality operational demands.
  • Transporting staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Licensing: Must possess a valid driving license with clean endorsements for both light commercial vehicles (vans) and heavy commercial vehicles (lorries) (Class BCE / current NTSA equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience actively driving both vans and heavy lorries.
  • Documentation: A valid Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Good Conduct) is mandatory.

Skills

  • Excellent vehicle handling, strong spatial awareness, punctuality, and the stamina to manage extended working hours.

Location Advantage

  • Proximity to the Ruai/ByPass/Kamulu area is highly advantageous.
