JOB DETAILS:
Role Purpose
Provide technical expertise in data analysis to strengthen UNFPA’s evidence‑based programming, monitoring, and evaluation, ensuring high‑quality data informs reproductive health, gender equality, and population development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support UNFPA programmes.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for decision‑making.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with UN standards.
- Collaborate with programme teams to integrate evidence into planning.
- Support monitoring and evaluation frameworks with robust analytics.
- Provide technical guidance on statistical methods and tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis and visualization.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, Stata).
- Strong knowledge of database management and data governance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with UN agencies or international NGOs is an advantage.
