Job Overview

The Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics solutions to support the IRC's programs and operations. This role will work closely with program teams, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and usability for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
  • Develop and implement data models and database solutions to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
  • Develop and automate reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and database management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data engineering.
