Job Purpose:

The job holder will be responsible for transforming enterprise data into actionable insights by developing analytical models, supporting data-driven decision-making, and contributing to the implementation of the organization’s data strategy, governance framework, and advanced analytics capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights for business units.
  • Develop predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision-making.
  • Build and maintain machine learning models and analytical pipelines.
  • Support implementation of the enterprise data framework including data quality and governance standards.
  • Work with data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, data lakes) to process and analyse data.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders
  • Translate analytical outputs into clear business insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Identify opportunities for AI/ML to improve business performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
  • 1- 2 years’ experience in data analytics or data science.
  • Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and Power BI or similar tools.
  • Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure).
  • Understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
