Position Overview:
JILG United Legal Group is looking for a dedicated Debt Collector Specialist to manage and recover outstanding debts on behalf of the firm. The ideal candidate will be skilled in negotiation and persistence, with a firm but professional approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact debtors to arrange for outstanding payments via phone, email, and written communication.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements in accordance with firm policies and legal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities and account statuses.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and disputes related to debt accounts.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations governing debt collection practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Debt Collector or in a similar collections role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FDCPA).
• Persistent, patient, and able to handle rejection and stressful situations professionally.
