JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
- Contact clients with outstanding debts via phone, email, or in-person visits.
- Negotiate payment plans and follow up to ensure commitments are met.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all communications and payment statuses.
- Prepare periodic reports on collections and account statuses.
- Work closely with the finance and customer service teams to resolve disputes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of KCSE certificate.
- At least 3 years of continuous experience as a Debt Collector (microfinance sector experience is an added advantage).
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Strong computer skills and good record-keeping ability.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, persistence, and attention to detail.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: bachelor degree
