Key Responsibilities:

Front Office Management:

  • Welcome patients, schedule appointments, and manage the reception area.
  • Handle phone inquiries and respond to emails promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain patient records using dental management software and ensure confidentiality.

Clinical Assistance:

  • Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and patients.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Manage billing, invoicing, and insurance documentation.
  • Ensure the clinic operates efficiently by ordering supplies and maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum KCSE grade of C-.
  • Proficiency in computer use, including familiarity with dental or medical software (training can be provided).
  • Certificate/Diploma in Dental Assisting is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
