Job descriptions & requirements

1. Cash Management

• Record all daily cash sales accurately
• Receive and issue receipts for payments
• Perform daily cash reconciliation
• Investigate and report any cash shortages or variances

2. Stock Control (Milk & Products)

• Track daily milk stock (received, sold, balance)
• Perform daily stock reconciliation
• Monitor spoilage, wastage, and returns
• Report stock variances promptly

3. Sales Recording

• Capture all sales (cash and credit)
• Maintain accurate sales records
• Verify pricing and quantities

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports:
• Sales reports
• Cash reports
• Stock reports
• Submit reports to management on time

5. Credit Control

• Track customer credit sales
• Follow up on outstanding payments
• Maintain updated debtor records

6. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to internal controls
• Follow company financial procedures
• Support audits (internal & external)

7. System Management

• Capture transactions in an accounting system such as:
• Anchor ERP
• Maintain accurate digital and manual records

8. Coordination

• Work closely with:
• Depot staff
• Drivers/sales team
• Head office finance team
