P.C.E.A Tumutumu Hospital which is a faith based level five referral hospital located in Nyeri County 5Km from Karatina town wishes to fill the following vacancy:
Position: Deputy College Principal
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related medical field from a recognized university, with registration by the relevant professional body and a valid private practicing license. A Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in a health-related discipline or medical education will be an added advantage.
- At least five (5) years' relevant teaching or professional experience in the subject area, with the ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning.
- Training in medical education or management will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of the psychology and learning needs of young adults.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to relate effectively with people at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines, including working under pressure when required.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, ethical conduct, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A recommendation letter from a religious leader, who should also be listed as one of the referees.
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply
