The Deputy Director, Legal Services will provide strategic legal leadership and oversight across the Authority’s operations. The role is responsible for coordinating legal advisory services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting corporate governance at senior management level.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing legal advice on contracts, infrastructure projects, land acquisition, and public-private partnerships;
- Overseeing litigation and dispute resolution processes involving the Authority;
- Reviewing and approving legal documents, agreements, and statutory instruments;
- Advising management on compliance with national laws, regulations, and policies;
- Supporting Board and committee functions through legal input;
- Supervising legal officers and clerical staff; and
- Contributing to policy development and institutional risk management.
