Background

Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

Qualifications or Requirements

Be a Kenyan citizen

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines, Public Administration; Business Administration/Management; Community Development; or any other social science from a recognized institution.

Must satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010

Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Senior management course from a recognized institution may be preferred.

Experience Needed

Minimum of eight years (8) of experience

Responsibilities or Duties

Performing any other duty as may be delegate from time to time

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
