About the Role

IRES is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Learning Capacity Building Officer to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. This role is crucial in developing and implementing innovative digital learning strategies to enhance the capacity of our staff and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design competency-based learning programmes for diverse institutional clients.
• Convert     instructor-led     training content into        engaging     digital learning solutions.
• Develop e-learning content, digital curricula, and learning assessment frameworks.
• Support institutional capacity development and training delivery across the region.
• Ensure learning solutions are aligned with organizational goals and learner needs.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, Education, or a related field.
• ATD Certification, Certified Instructional Designer, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Training of Trainers (ToT) certification.
• At least 10 years of experience designing competency-based learning programmes.
• Experience converting instructor-led training into engaging digital learning solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in e-learning content development, digital curriculum design, and learning assessment.
• Experience supporting institutional capacity development and training delivery.

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Experience delivering complex ICT or digital transformation assignments.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience working with government agencies, financial institutions, higher education institutions, or development partners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in Eastern Africa or similar regional contexts is desirable.
