Responsibilities or duties

Develop clear, compelling fundraising proposals by translating program work, data, and strategy into strong donor-facing materials.

Collaborate across program, finance, and leadership teams to draft, coordinate, and align proposal inputs with operational and financial realities.

Review and refine submissions to ensure clarity, consistency, and full compliance with donor requirements and organizational priorities.

Identify and assess funding opportunities through research, internal review processes, and concise briefing materials to support go/no-go decisions.

Maintain and strengthen the fundraising pipeline by tracking opportunities and ensuring systems and information are up to date for effective pursuit.

Coordinate internal responses to donor requirements, including due diligence, documentation, and information requests across teams.

Track grant requirements and timelines to ensure timely, organized compliance with donor communications and reporting obligations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

5+ years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, partnerships, or development.

Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, International Relations, Public Policy, or related field.

An individual who is organized, curious, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, writing, researching new opportunities, and building systems that help teams operate more effectively.

A strong writer who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling materials such as concept notes and proposals. One who takes pride in producing writing that is thoughtful, precise, and easy to understand.

Skilled at noticing inconsistencies, gaps, or unclear arguments in written materials and instinctively work to strengthen them.

Comfortable researching opportunities, synthesizing information, and helping teams assess which opportunities are worth pursuing.

A detail-oriented individual who enjoys maintaining systems that track opportunities, deadlines, and donor requirements.
