Development Programme, Internship - Human Resources at Standard Bank Group

Responsibilities or duties

  • Recruitment Support: Assist in drafting job adverts, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Prepare new hire documentation, conduct orientation sessions, and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed and filed.
  • Employee Record Management: Maintain and update physical and digital personnel files, ensuring all employee data is accurate, confidential, and up-to-date.
  • Leave & Attendance Tracking: Monitor staff attendance, leave applications, and sick days, updating the HR system and flagging discrepancies.
  • HR Policy Communication: Assist in disseminating HR policies, handbooks, and updates to staff, answering basic employee queries on benefits and procedures.
  • Training Coordination: Organize training sessions, workshops, and development programs, including logistics, attendance tracking, and feedback collection.
  • Exits & Offboarding: Support the offboarding process by collecting exit documents, conducting exit interviews, and processing final clearance forms.
