The Mirema dream started off way back in 1997 when a couple called for a family meeting to share their desire to start a school. Mirema School, a Christian based primary school offering the 2.6.6.3/8.4.4 curriculum, International British Curriculum & Special Needs Curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging posters, flyers, social media graphics and other marketing materials.
  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos of school activities, events and learning experiences. Produce creative video content for social media, campaigns and the school website.
  • Create, schedule and publish engaging content across the school's social media platforms.
  • Maintain consistent use of the school's brand identity across all content.
  • Monitor social media performance, engagement and audience growth.
  • Organize and maintain the school's photo, video and digital content library.
  • Collaborate with different departments to support school events, campaigns and communication needs.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Film & Video Production, Communication, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant professional experience in digital content production.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and video-editing software.
  • Strong skills in graphic design, photography, videography and video editing.
  • Experience creating and managing content for social media platforms.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design, photography and video-production skills.
  • Strong communication, creativity, organization and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in an educational or child-focused environment will be an added advantage.
