Background

Smart Regional Consultants (SRC) is a leading business support and advisory services consulting firm in Kenya with experience working with small holder farmers in the various agricultural value chains.

Role Context

The Digital Inclusion Program Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that support women entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to adopt and effectively use digital solutions to strengthen their businesses. The role focuses on enabling access to digital financial services, business applications, and digital marketing tools that improve operational efficiency, financial inclusion, and market reach.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will work closely with SMEs to recruit, onboard, and support them in integrating digital platforms such as mobile and digital banking, fintech solutions, bookkeeping tools, and social media into their daily operations. The role also involves building and managing partnerships with private sector actors—including banks, microfinance institutions, insurance firms, fintechs, and mobile network operators—to expand access to digital solutions, sponsorships, and ecosystem opportunities such as trade fairs and market linkage events. Reporting to the Senior Programs Manager, the Digital Inclusion Program Manager will coordinate program delivery, private sector engagement, monitoring and reporting, and learning, ensuring that digital inclusion initiatives are practical, scalable, and responsive to the realities of women-owned businesses operating in low-resource environments.

Qualifications

BA/BSc/HND
