JOB DETAILS:
Director, Clinical Services
Job Grade: KUH 2 | REF No: DCS/VERT2/2025 Terms of Service: Five (5) year contract renewable once subject to satisfactory performance.
Job Purpose
To provide strategic leadership in planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality healthcare services across the Hospital. This role ensures compliance with national health policy, professional ethics, and institutional standards while driving innovation, efficiency, and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
Education:
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Master's degree in a health-related field from a recognized institution.
Specialist recognition certificate in a clinical field will be an added advantage.
Professional Requirements:
Valid practicing license.
Registration with a relevant professional body.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in senior management level or a comparable position.
Training: Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
Compliance: Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
