Background
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is a private foundation working to help people in poor countries lead healthier, more productive lives.
Responsibilities
The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to advance the Foundation's goals in specific program areas. This includes managing a team, overseeing grantmaking, engaging with partners, and representing the Foundation.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, extensive experience in program leadership and management, a deep understanding of global health or development issues, and a proven track record of strategic thinking and execution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector or a related field.
