Job Summary
The Doctor Liaison Officer will actively build relationships with doctors already working with 3rd park hospital to ensure they are well supported to improve their scope and provide quality services. They identify opportunities to improve retention, resolve communication gaps, and communicate hospital capabilities and new services to physicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with admitting and referring doctors
- Support patient referral processes and inter-specialty coordination
- Address communication gaps and improve doctor satisfaction and retention
- Act as the main contact person for physician support and concerns
- Share updates on new hospital technologies, equipment, and services
- Coordinate feedback from doctors and escalate concerns to management
- Work closely with insurance and finance teams to ensure smooth pre-authorizations and payments
- Maintain accurate records of physician interactions in the CRM system
- Represent the hospital at networking events, seminars, and meetings
Required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
- 4–5 years’ experience in healthcare sales, physician relations, or a similar liaison role
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Understanding of medical terminology and hospital systems
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Increase in total patient referrals.
- Number of consistent doctors in each specialty
- Number of face-to-face visits with referring physicians.
- Reduction in issues/complaints from admitting doctors.
