Background

Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is a consultancy services company incorporated under the laws of Kenya.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and schedules.

Produce precise technical drawings from preliminary sketches, field measurements, and engineering specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, or SolidWorks.

Review drawings for dimensions, technical consistency, and compliance with building regulations and technical standards.

Perform drawing revisions, process design amendments, and prepare final as-built drawings following project completion.

Assist with site surveys and field measurements to gather accurate technical data for project layouts.

Prepare drawing packages for submission to clients, regulatory authorities, consultants, and construction teams.

Organize and maintain a structured digital archiving system for drawing revisions and technical documentation.

Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and quantity surveyors throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Drafting, Architectura Technology, Building Technology, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced CAD applications; familiarity with BIM software (Revit), Civil 3D, or SolidWorks is highly desirable.

Practical understanding of construction standards, building regulations, and 3D modeling/visualization principles.

Familiarity with field surveying techniques and physical measurement gathering.

High level of precision, technical drawing capabilities, and sharp attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
