Background

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a worldwide faith of over 16 million members centered on the belief that everyone on earth is a son or daughter of a loving God1 and that His Son, Jesus Christ, saved the world from sin and death. Jesus Christ invites all of God's children to come unto, follow, and become more like Him.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transports missionaries through a variety of vehicles which may include large buses.
  • Take care of the vehicles by regularly cleaning, servicing, and ensuring the proper maintenance and repairs are conducted by the proper certified technicians
  • Adheres to all federal and state transportation laws and safely procedures.
  • Assist with daily vehicle inspection to ensure optimum performance and operations
  • Transport people and delivers goods to destination safely applying knowledge of driving regulations and road s in area in accordance to instruction given.
  • Maintains vehicle logs and performs basic performance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be worthy of a temple recommend
  • Requires high school education or equivalent
  • Two years of previous work experience
  • One year previous driving experience, a good driving record and a safety mind
  • Must posses an appropriate driver’s license
  • Basic knowledge of auto mechanics
  • Ability to follow direction and/or maps
  • Basic reading, maths and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to care for and highly regard church vehicle and equipment.
