Job Description Job Summary Our client is seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, and/or personnel while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or personnel to designated locations Plan optimal routes to ensure timely delivery and fuel efficiency Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company driving policies Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling of all items Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Report any vehicle defects, damages, or maintenance issues immediately Ensure the vehicle is clean, presentable, and in good working condition at all times Monitor fluid levels, tire pressure, and other basic maintenance requirements Coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled servicing Documentation and Compliance Complete and maintain accurate delivery documentation and logbooks Obtain necessary signatures and proof of delivery Ensure all required licenses, permits, and vehicle documentation are current Comply with hours of service regulations and company policies Report accidents, incidents, or delays promptly to management Qualifications Valid driver's license Clean driving record with no major violations Completion of secondary education or equivalent Minimum 2-3 years of professional driving experience Proven track record of safe driving Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations Strong sense of direction and route planning abilities Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge Effective communication and interpersonal skills Punctuality and reliability Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situation
