JOB DETAILS:

Background

The National Drought Management Authority (NDMA) is a state corporation established under the Ministry of Devolution and ASALs. Its mandate is to establish and coordinate mechanisms for drought risk management and to ensure that drought is managed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

The Drivers III will be responsible for:

• Driving Authority vehicles as assigned.
• Ensuring the safety and security of passengers and goods.
• Maintaining the assigned vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.
• Keeping accurate records of journeys undertaken, fuel consumption, and mileage.
• Reporting any mechanical faults or accidents promptly.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A valid driving license.
• A certificate of good conduct.
• A minimum of KCSE Mean Grade D+ or equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant driving experience.
• A valid PSV license will be an added advantage.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: high school
